Shipping Policy – Mid Florida Livestock

 

At Mid Florida Livestock, the safety and well-being of our animals is our top priority. Please review our policy below:

1. Local Pickup (Preferred)

• Local pickup is strongly encouraged.
• Pickup is by appointment only.
• Buyers must bring proper transport (crates, cages, or livestock carriers).

2. Delivery Options

• Local delivery may be available for an additional fee.
• Delivery fees are based on distance and will be agreed upon before purchase.
• We may arrange to meet at a designated public location if needed.

3. Buyer Responsibility

• Buyer is responsible for arranging pickup or delivery.
• Buyer must ensure proper housing and transportation for the animal.
• Someone must be present to receive the animal at the agreed time.

4. Animal Condition

• All animals are healthy to the best of our knowledge at time of transfer.
• Once the animal leaves our possession, Mid Florida Livestock is not responsible for its condition.

5. Delays

• We are not responsible for delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
• Delivery or pickup times may be adjusted if necessary for the animal’s safety.

6. No Refunds on Delivery Fees

• Delivery fees are non-refundable.
• If a buyer cancels after arrangements are made, deposits and delivery fees will not be returned.

7. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse delivery or transfer if:

• Conditions are unsafe
• Proper arrangements are not made
• Animal welfare may be at risk
